Terms
Terms for what exists today.
Today educagents.ai is a website, two free tools that run in your browser, and an early-access list. These terms cover exactly that. Nothing is for sale, and when that changes, the terms for it will be published before the feature is.
terms-2026-09-26.3effective 2026-09-26covers: site, Symbols, GPA What-If, early-access list
1. Who we are
educagents.ai is run by one person, as a sole proprietorship (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. Questions go to privacy@educagents.ai.
2. Who it is for
The site is built for adults: university students, adult learners and educators. It is not designed for or directed at children. The Symbols tool collects nothing from anyone, whatever their age. The early-access list is for people aged 18 and over only, so if you are under 18, please don’t join it. The form asks for your birth year; we store a yes, not the year. We ask, we don’t verify.
3. The free tools
The tool at /tools/symbols is free, needs no account, and runs entirely in your browser. What you search for and copy is not sent to us, and any symbols you save as favourites stay in your browser. The characters themselves are standard Unicode, not ours, and you can use anything you copy however you like. We work to get every codepoint right, but check anything that matters, like a submitted assignment or a published paper, before you rely on it.
GPA What-If at /tools/gpa-what-if is free, needs no account, and uses no AI. Everything you enter stays in your browser and is gone when you leave the page; nothing is sent to us or saved. It uses the common US plus/minus 4.0 scale, printed in full on the page. Your school’s cutoffs and policies may differ, so its results are a plan, not an official grade. Check your syllabus or registrar before relying on them.
4. The early-access list
Joining the list creates no account and commits you to nothing. We use your address to email you when early access opens and, if you are one of the first 100 founding builders below, to arrange reviewing and featuring your tool. We will not sell, rent or trade it, or add it to any other list. You can leave at any time by emailing us from the address you signed up with, and we delete the whole record. Exactly what we store, why, and for how long is on the privacy page. That page, not this one, is what you agree to when you join the list; using the site does not sign you up for anything.
Founding builders. If you pick a tool under “What would you build first?” (any answer except “I’d rather use tools than build them”) you are a founding builder. The first 100 founding builders, in the order they joined the list, get their first tool reviewed by us and featured on educagents.ai if publishing opens. The conditions, all of them: publishing has to open, and it may not (see section 5); the tool has to meet the publishing rules in force then; and you have to still be on the list, which ends when you ask us to delete your record or 24 months after you joined. It costs nothing and asks nothing else of you. If you joined before this question existed, or want to change your pick, email us from the address you signed up with.
5. What is not offered yet
You cannot buy, sell, publish or get paid for a tool on educagents.ai today, and there are no user accounts. The prices, earnings and tools shown in examples on this site, such as a resume tool at $0.60 an application, are illustrations of a service we are designing. They are not offers, and they are not a promise that the service will launch in that form or at all. The one offer on the site is the founding-builder offer in section 4, on the conditions set out there.
Before any of that launches, we will publish separate terms for it, covering payment, pricing, the platform’s share, payouts and who owns what you build. You will have to agree to those explicitly at that point. Nothing on this page agrees to them in advance.
6. Using the site fairly
Please don’t:
- sign anyone else up for the list, or submit an address that isn’t yours;
- submit the form automatically, in bulk, or to get around its rate limits;
- try to break, overload, or get unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it;
- use the site to do anything unlawful.
If you find a security problem, tell us at privacy@educagents.ai and we will thank you for it.
7. Our content
The site’s own writing, design, logo and code are ours. Third-party material, such as the Unicode data and open-source software, stays under its own licence. You are welcome to link to any page and to quote short passages with a link back. Please don’t copy the site wholesale or present it as your own.
8. No guarantees
The site and the Symbols tool are free and provided as they are. We try to keep them accurate and available, but we don’t promise they will be error-free or always online, and we may change or remove anything on the site.
9. Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site, such as lost time, lost data or lost opportunities. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law where you live does not let a business take away, including consumer protections, or our liability for anything that cannot legally be limited.
10. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we will publish the new version on this page with a new version label and effective date. We won’t apply a change backwards. If a change would matter to people on the early-access list, we will also say so in the next email we send them.
